Business partners and siblings, Hayley (35), Tom (37) and Paul Cooper (39) have joined forces to co-found an exciting new venture, The Healthcare Hub. This latest collaboration now sits alongside Dacey Orthotic Solutions, Orthotix, and ACE Feet in Motion in their healthcare business portfolio.
The Healthcare Hub is essentially a service led retail outlet which looks to infuse various aspects of their existing businesses in a high street setting. Taking inspiration from the European model of orthopaedic shop/clinics the siblings have high hopes for their unique concept which is explored below.
The Vision
To establish a network of service-led retail venues providing a cross section of desired healthcare services and a broad choice of medically approved products, all under one roof.
The goal is to make certain healthcare services and niche medical products more accessible to the public. In doing so, the aim is to assist GP’s and alleviate the financial constraints imposed on the National Health Service.
The Healthcare Hub Concept
The out-of-town Healthcare Hubs are designed to dovetail professional clinical facilities with a modern retail experience in a welcoming environment.
The Hub will accommodate a mix of Healthcare Professionals so that the public can have greater access to a variety of desired healthcare services within their local community. Similarly, the retail aspect will also provide a range of class 1 medical devices and other associated products that are not typically available from traditional pharmacies or other retail outlets.
Trained in-store Healthcare Assistants will also be on hand to enable appropriate product selection and fitting guidance.
Situated in the heart of Whitchurch Village, the flagship Hub is ideally positioned to serve the local communities of North Cardiff. Accessible by various public transport links, with two public car parks and disabled parking bays in front of the premises, the Hub is set in a prime location to serve the public of Whitchurch and the surrounding areas.

Leading Welsh podiatry firm Ace Feet In Motion are the primary healthcare providers offering a complete range of podiatry services out of the clinical facility at The Healthcare Hub in Whitchurch.
Appointments with experienced HCPC registered Podiatrists are now available for all chiropody services including nail cutting, nail surgery, reduction of corns/callus and verruca treatments.
Patients suffering with poor gait or foot function can also book a biomechanical foot assessment for the prescription of market leading orthotic insoles.

Discussions are also ongoing with a variety of allied Healthcare Professionals. It is anticipated that a mix of services from established healthcare businesses will be offered from the clinical facility at the Whitchurch Hub in the future.
